Lighthouse on Garden Key

Dry Tortugas National Park , Florida - Built in 1876

The Tortugas Harbor light stands atop Fort Jefferson's 50-foot parapet.
Erected in 1876, it replaced the original Garden Key lighthouse that was
first lit in 1826 and was seriously damaged by a hurricane in 1873.
